What we actually check
- Google index presence — a real
site: query through ScraperAPI, not a guess based on heuristics. - HTTP status— pages that 4xx or 5xx won't get indexed no matter what else you do.
- robots.txt rules — the #1 silent cause of un-indexed pages we see in support tickets.
- Meta robots noindex — Webflow / Shopify / Framer templates often ship with this on by accident.
- Open Graph tags — missing og:title/og:description hurts discovery indirectly via social shares + backlinks.
